As I told you at the beginning of the article, for uninstall apps that don't uninstall on Windows 10 you can first take advantage of the program removal features offered by the operating system itself. Find out how to use it right below.
Settings
To uninstall the apps that do not uninstall on Windows 10, you can first go to the appropriate section of the Settings of the operating system.

If, however, scrolling through the list of applications you cannot find the one you want to uninstall, you can help by typing its title in the search field. You can also use the drop-down menu Sort by, to change the view mode, and you can use the drop down menu Filter for, to choose to filter applications according to the drive on which they are installed.
Control Panel
Another system you can use to uninstall apps that don't uninstall on Windows 10 is to go and act from the Control Panel, but in this specific case it is not possible to intervene on the applications installed through the Microsoft Store, keep this in mind.

Official installation tools
Some programs that are more, so to speak, complex, that is to say those that take root in a deeper way in the system and that are composed of a considerable number of files and numerous keys within the Windows Registry, in order to be removed require special uninstall tool made available directly by the reference software houses.
To give a practical example, if you want to uninstall the antivirus in use on your PC but using the "standard" functions of Windows 10 you can't, obviously it's because you need the dedicated utility.
Generally, the utilities for removing programs are files in .exe format with a weight of a few MB or even a few KB. To exploit them, just double-click on them and follow the simple wizard proposed on the screen, which allows you to delete all the folders, files and registry keys of the application for which they were designed.
To find the utility for removing a given program, just visit the website of the relative manufacturer, then go to the section dedicated to the product reference or in the dedicated one al supporto e all'assistenza and proceed with the download from there.
Alternatively, you can do a Google search, using keywords of the type [program name] uninstall tool or [program name] removal tool. If the program you are looking for has an uninstall utility, you will certainly find it by clicking on one of the first results in the list. In this regard, however, I invite you to proceed with the download only and exclusively if the utility is hosted on an official software forum or on its website. In all other cases, forget it, as the utility could work bad or, in the worst case scenario, cause problems on Windows or bring "a dowry" of viruses.
Revo Uninstaller
If you are unable to delete a given program on Windows 10 and the removal utility is not available, you can consider using Revo Unistaller. It is, in fact, a software through which you can remove any program installed on your PC, even those that seem impossible to uninstall, all without leaving residual files and unused keys in the registry. It can also be used in a portal version and it is basic for free, but it is eventually available in some paid variants (with prices starting from $ 24,95), which allow you to obtain additional functions.
To download the program on your computer, go to its website, click on the button Free downloads which is at the top center and press the button Portable placed in correspondence with the wording Revo Unistaller Freeware.
When the download is complete, extract theZIP archive proceeds and starts the .exe file present inside. In the window that is now shown on the screen, click on the button Yes, dopodiché clicca sul pulsating OK.
At this point, translate the program interface by clicking on the button Options located at the top, by selecting thecityno from the menu Current language located at the top and then pressing the button OK.
Next, locate the program you want to get rid of from the list in the central part of the Revo Unistaller screen, select it and press the button Uninstall that you find at the top. Then follow the software removal wizard and you're done.
If you need to delete an application taken from the Microsoft Store, however, click the item first Windows Apps from the top of the Revo Unistaller window, then select the reference application from the list and press the button Uninstall always located at the top.

It also allows you to completely eliminate residual traces of applications after their removal. Basic is free, but eventually comes in a paid variant (at a cost of $ 24,95) that offers some advanced features.
- IOBit Uninstaller - program that allows you to completely uninstall the software on your computer, using a very well-finished user interface. It also allows you to clean up accumulated files from browsers and remove toolbars and plug-ins. Basically it is free, but it is also available in a paid version (at a cost of 19,99 euros) that offers a greater number of functions.
- UninstallView - totally free solution that does not require installation thanks to which you can remove the programs present on Windows in a clean and complete way, avoiding encountering any errors.
Other solutions to uninstall apps that don't uninstall Windows 10
Although you have followed my instructions on how to uninstall apps that do not uninstall on Windows 10, you have not yet succeeded in your intent? In this case, first try to carry out the operations described in this step, then repeat the instructions I have already given you in the previous lines and you will see that everything will finally go in the right direction.
First of all, it cannot be ruled out that the fault may be attributable to some virus that "infests" your computer. To deal with this, I suggest you do one scan with antivirus installed on your PC and consent to the removal of any threats identified. If the antivirus does not detect threats, I invite you to run one as well anti-malware scan of the entire system, relying on special tools, as in the case of those I told you about in my guide focused, in fact, on the best anti-malware. In fact, these are tools that do not “step on the feet” of the classic antivirus, as they do not act in real time, and that allow you to identify and remove even the most insidious and particular cyber threats.
Another thing I urge you to do, if you are unable to remove a given program, is to make sure that is not running on the computer. Check, therefore, that there are no open windows of the reference software and that this is not in use in the background or that it is not involved in any process currently active, following the instructions on what to do that I provided in my guide on how see background processes.
In circumstances where a given software seems impossible to remove, perhaps due to some internal system error, to remedy it, it may also be useful to exploit the restore points, to restore the computer to a previous condition in which everything worked without problems.
