If you intend to enable cookies on Instagram acting from the computer version of Mozilla Firefox, start the browser, press the ☰ button located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is displayed to you press the item options. Next, go to the Privacy and security section by clicking on the entry of the same name located in the left sidebar.
At this point, make sure that the option is set to Normal for browser privacy management, normally enabled by default, provides a balance between protection and performance by manually managing the activation of cookies.

In recent versions it has been completely overhauled and is now based on Chromium, that is, on the same engine as the Google Chrome browser. In addition to being available for Windows and MacOS, it can also be downloaded for free on Android and iOS / IPadOS. In the following lines, I will explain how to use it to enable cookies on Instagram.
If you are using Microsoft Edge on your computer, to enable cookies in the browser, first press the button (...) located in the upper right corner. After that, in the menu that is displayed to you, click on the items Settings> Privacy and Services.
Now, make sure that the Basic option is enabled, which allows most of the trackers on all websites to optimize the browsing experience.
You also want to add the official Instagram website to the list of allowed and excluded from detection protection, to allow cookies, press the item Exceptions and then on the Add site button.
