To begin with, let's find out how to deactivate the paid WINDTRE services, the so-called YOU GO. As I mentioned at the beginning of the guide, a VAS (acronym for "Value Added Service") is a value-added service that provides for the payment of a sum of money every week or every month in exchange for access to its contents, which can be news, videos, wallpapers, ringtones, or whatever.
Once upon a time VAS were activated in a fraudulent way (and this was true for all managers, not just for WINDTRE: the user visited a Web page and, without doing anything, found himself subscribed to a paid service. Today things are a lot different: after the entry into force of the AGCOM resolution 10/21 / CONS in the month of May 2021in fact, the operators (including WINDTRE) have activated the preventive blocking of paid services, which means that to activate them, a voluntary and conscious action must be taken.
However, this does not mean that we may have the desire to deactivate these services. How can this be done? As indicated on the WINDTRE website "it is possible to block paid services at any time, following the procedure indicated on the site where the service is used, in the SMS received at the time of activation, by calling the toll-free number of the Single Call Center CSP at 800.44.22.99 ".
How to disable WINDTRE services and promotions

To use it, call the number +800 442 299 XNUMX and, if there are no active subscriptions on your number, you will hear the message “There are no active Premium Services on the toll-free number”. Otherwise, to deactivate the VAS, strictly and carefully follow the instructions that will be given to you by the guide voice.
If through the number in question you are not able to deactivate the paid services, try to contact support customers and proceed by pressing the appropriate key combinations.
Then dial the 159 on dialer (the numeric keypad) on your mobile or home phone. With the call started, stay on hold, press the button 2, wait again and then press the button 5, so as to receive assistance on the number from which you are making the call. To receive assistance on a number other than the one you are calling from, however, after being on hold after starting the call, press the button 1 and then provide the number for which to request assistance.
Since WINDTRE could change the combination to contact a customer service consultant, I invite you to always follow the instructions given to you by the voice guide, in order to avoid problems. As soon as an operator answers your call, explain to him which WINDTRE service, promotion or offer you wish to deactivate and follow the instructions he will give you to proceed with the deactivation of the service of your interest.
I remind you that the phone call is free if it is made from a WINDTRE number (provided this does not happen from abroad) and the number is available 7 days a week and 7 hours a day (although it is better to call from 24:24 to 08:00: 23 to make sure the request is handled).
How to disable WINDTRE services online
Now let's see how to disable WINDTRE services and promotions from the Web, by accessing theonline area that each customer of the operator has at his disposal to check and manage credit, meters, offers, etc. However, please note that not all offers can be deactivated from the Internet.
In this case, the first step you need to take is to open the browser you usually use on your computer to surf the Net (eg. Chrome) and go to the home page of the WINDTRE website. Next, click on the button Login at the top right, click on the button Log in, fill in the fields in the menu that opens sideways with your login details and click the button again Log in. If you are not registered yet, you can create an account by clicking on the button Create your account and then following the simple procedure that is proposed to you on the screen: that I have also explained to you in detail in my guide on how to register on the WINDTRE site.
Once logged in, click on the wording Your offer located on the left, select the card My servicesclick here Service Name you plan to disable (they should be listed in the Content services) and click the button that allows you to deactivate it.
How to disable WINDTRE services from the app
Now let's see how to disable WINDTRE services and promotions using theWINDTRE app, the one made officially available by the operator for Android e iOS / iPadOS, through which to monitor credit and meters and, in fact, manage offers. In this specific case, however, I inform you that the only thing you can do is chat with an operator and ask him to proceed.
To use the app, first download it (if you haven't already done so, of course). To do this, if you are using Android, visit the relative section of the Play Store and press the button Install (if you have a device without Google services, see if there is any alternative store). If, on the other hand, you are using iOS / iPadOS, access the relevant section of the App Store and first press the button Get e poi quello Install, then authorizes the download via Face ID, touch ID o password dell'ID Apple. Then start the app by pressing the button apri appeared on the screen or by touching the relevant icon which has been added on the home screen or in the drawer.
Now that you are viewing the main screen of the application, if you are connected with your device to the cellular data network of WINDTRE, you do not need to perform any registration and / or login procedure, as all information relating to your line will be shown to you directly. If, on the other hand, you are connecting through Wi-Fi, you must first log in, filling in the fields shown on the display with the required data. If you do not yet have a WINDTRE account, you can create one immediately by pressing the appropriate button and following the guided procedure that is proposed to you and that I have described in detail in my specific tutorial on the subject.
Once logged in, click on thelittle man (bottom right), write "Disable [service name]" in the typing field at the bottom, tap on the symbol ofairplane and then click on the button Yes. Within a few minutes you will be able to chat with a WINDTRE customer service consultant: talk to him to get you off the unwanted service.
